Company Background

In the 1970's and early 80's, three brothers grew up on Riley Mountain Farm in the mountain woods of Connecticut. Their father, “Rog“ worked union construction during the week and dismantled dangerous, hazardous trees on the weekends as a supplemental income while mom attended nursing school and together they raised “us boys.”

While having and using cutting edge technology, equipment and innovations to successfully prune, care for, or remove trees are key components, it's the character, compassion, discipline, and traditions instilled in us during our childhood and young adult years that has truly built Alpine Arborists' Professional Tree Care into what it is today. Harvesting maple syrup, cutting and splitting firewood for the winter, gardening, caring for all of the animals as well as each other were (and still are) everyday tasks on the farm.

After college and moving away to Colorado in the 1990s, taking tree care to the next level was my goal along with building a successful tree service company. Becoming an ISA Certified Arborist, competing in the annual International Society of Arboriculture climbing competition, and joining the Tree Care Industry Association are just a couple of the high marks and accomplishments obtained over the years in order to care for our customers' trees at the highest level.

The values and character obtained on the farm show in our daily work whether it's in our superior customer service, courteous and professional employees, interaction with each other, or our obvious love for this career field.
